FAQ'S

The health and safety of all associated with the PGA TOUR and our global community continues to be our No. 1 priority.  The Mitsubishi Electric Classic, along with PGA TOUR Champions, State of Georgia, Gwinnett County and other Local Officials will continue to evaluate the extensive set of COVID-19 health and safety measures developed in conjunction with CDC guidelines in order to promote a safe environment and quality experience on the golf course.

PLEASE READ OUR COVID-19 SPECIFIC POLICIES BELOW

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: All spectators are encouraged to take their own temperature and review the CDC’s symptom questionnaire before departing their home. If spectator’s temperature is 100.4 degrees or higher, please seek medical advice and do not attend.

SHUTTLES: Shuttles will operate at 50% and guests are expected to socially distance themselves from other parties on the bus. Routine sanitation practices will take place after each leg of the journey.

MOBILE TICKETING: All tickets are to be purchased thru AXS website in advance or thru the AXS app prior to entering the gates.  Mobile tickets will be provided thru AXS. Upon arrival to TPCSugarloaf, fans will present their mobile ticket on their phone. Customer services ambassadors will be available on-site at TPC Sugarloaf for those with questions / issues with their mobile tickets.

MASKS: To provide a safe environment for all, masks will be required*, indoors and outdoors. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own, however if forgotten, masks will be provided at spectator entrances and at various other locations throughout the golf course.

*exceptions are limited and include: medical conditions that make wearing a mask difficult; children under the age of 2; while activelyeating or drinking.

AUTOGRAPHS: For the safety of the players and gallery members alike, autographs willbe prohibited at the 2021 Mitsubishi Electric Classic.

CONCESSION STANDS: Public concession stands will be equipped with plexi-glass sneezeguards and offer pre-packaged food items, condiments, and cutlery sets.  Beverage services will primarily feature packaged products in cans and bottles. Bars will offer poured drink service but will follow local public health guidelines set specific for restaurants and bars.

CROWD MITIGATION: Fan Safety Ambassadors will help mitigate crowds in and around the Admission Tent, Clubhouse, hospitality areas, and other high traffic gathering locations.

ROPE LINE: Spectators are not permitted to consume food or beverage within 10ft. of the rope line. Spectators can carry / hold their food & beverage in hand, but not actively consume.

SANITIZING STATIONS: Stationary hand sanitizer units will be placed throughout the golf course at the entrances, restrooms, and concession locations. Spectators are also encouraged to bring their own small bottle of hand sanitizer.

SEATING: Seating, tables, and furniture will be appropriately placed to accommodate and promote social distancing. There will be no public bleachers on course.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: Once on-site, spectators will be asked to maintain a six-foot separation from other individuals, unless the party has arrived together.

PAYMENT: All major credit cards will be accepted where payment is required.  Non-cash transactions are recommended.

Bags larger than a small purse (6" x 6") including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags are prohibited.  Approved bags include: clear bags smaller than 12" x 6" x 6", 1-gallon plastic freezer bags, medically necessary bags and diaper bags.

Cell phones are allowed on tournament grounds under the following considerations:

  • Devices must be on silent at all times; flash may not be used.
  • Devices may be used to capture video, audio and photos (content) in all areas throughout tournament week.
  • Content may be used for personal purposes (e.g., personal social media); no commercial use.
  • No live streaming or real-time coverage (e.g., no shot-by-shot coverage).
  • Data use (e.g., texting) is permitted in all areas throughout tournament week.
  • Phone calls are allowed only in designated areas.
  • Please be respectful of play and do not interfere with players, caddies or media.
  • All posted signage and instructions from tournament staff must be observed.
  • Failure to comply with this policy may result in revocation of your ticket.

The tournament has a meteorologist on-site monitoring the possibility of inclement weather.  Observe the leaderboards throughout the golf course for "WEATHER WARNING" signs that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area.  When the signs appear spectators are advised to take precautions such as evacuating the bleachers, skyboxes, and hospitality tents as well as open areas, hilltops, isolated trees, golf carts, and wired fences.

If play is suspended, indicated by one of the prolonged air-horn blast, please close your umbrella and seek shelter immediately.  Suspension of play means there is a delay in play, not necessarily a cancellation.

Any misconduct, illegal activity, intoxication, use of illegal substance, or violation of any rule or instruction of tournament representatives is prohibited and shall be grounds for forfeiture of your ticket & for your removal from the premises.  Spectators will be subject to expulsion and the loss of ticket privileges for the following breaches of etiquette:

  • Stay behind the gallery ropes
  • Stay quiet and stand still when the players are about to hit the ball
  • “Hands in the air” means to stop and be quiet while golfers are playing their shots
  • Do not cross fairways except at designated crosswalk areas.
  • Always look both ways before crossing a cart path.
  • Be considerate of others, and kneel or sit if you find yourself in the front row of the gallery.
  • Walk carefully, never run.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Children under 12 should be kept at a safe distance while play is in progress. Parents should take extra precautionary measures when choosing a viewing location.
  • Making rude, vulgar, or other inappropriate comments or gestures
  • Verbal or physical harassment of players, volunteers, officials, or spectators
  • Distracting a player or any disruption of play
  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, unsafe, or illegal in nature
  • Failing to follow the instruction of a championship official, volunteer, or security personnel

All major credit cards will be accepted at all concession locations.  Non-cash transactions are recommended.

All spectator tickets will be purchased online and issued / redeemed thru the AXS mobile app. 

Youth 16 and under are eligible to receive complimentary grounds admission with a properly credentialed adult. All children over the age of two need a ticket for any ticketed hospitality area.

NOTE: To login to the app, be sure to use the same email you used when purchasing your tickets (the same email address your confirmation email was sent to). If you’re having trouble logging in with that email address, a password reset should do the trick.

All sales are final.  Should the tournament be hosted without fans due to the ongoing impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic, ticket holders will receive a full refund. Additional details will be provided if necessary.

No autographs are permitted once a player begins a competitive round, Friday to Sunday. A player may elect to sign autographs prior to, or at the conclusion, of his round.

The following items are prohibited on the course ALL week.  Please leave them in your car.

  • Backpacks
  • Bags larger than a small purse (6 x 6) including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags.
  • Bicycles not allowed inside admission areas or on the tournament grounds
  • Cameras Friday-Sunday/binocular cases
  • Clear, plastic, vinyl, or other carry items larger than 12 x 6 x 12.
  • Computers or laptops
  • Coolers
  • Drones
  • Explosives and/or fireworks of any kind
  • Illegal substances
  • Ladders and/or step stools or other similar items
  • Laser pointers
  • Lawn or oversized chairs, seat cushions or chair bags (no seat cushions in a carrying case or that have pockets or compartments)
  • Metal-spiked golf shoes
  • Outside food or beverages except for infant needs.
  • Pets/Animals (except for Service animals)
  • Picnic baskets
  • Plastic, metal or glass cups, cans or containers of any kind except for medical or infant needs
  • Poles or rods
  • Posters, signs or banners
  • Radios, televisions or other electronic noise producing items
  • Segways
  • Video cameras (All week)
  • Weapons (regardless of permit, including but not limited to firearms or knives)
  • Whistles, horns or noise makers
  • Other items deemed unlawful, dangerous or disruptive by the PGA TOUR/Tournament Security Officials
  • Please Note: Strollers, plastic baby bottles and other baby supplies are permitted on the course. (infant must be with carrier)

Prohibited bags of any kind cannot be left at security checkpoints and will be required to be returned to your vehicle.  For security purposes, you hereby consent to the reasonable inspection of your person and property before entering the tournament, which may include metal detection.

This is an event for all members of the community. All spectators should wear comfortable shoes and clothing in anticipation of walking between venues and attractions around the course.

Spectators should have the following items on hand:

• Wind breaker
• Hat/visor
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Umbrella

ADA PARKING

ADA accessible parking is available for vehicles with a valid state permit at TPC Sugarloaf.

SPECTATOR PARKING

All parking will be available at the Infinite Energy Arena.

Spectator parking will be $5.00 per car, per day.  Shuttle service to and from TPC Sugarloaf, host course to the Mitsubishi Electric Classic will be complimentary.

Tips for Parking at Infinite Energy Center:

  1. Prepay for parking.  This will save time at the parking areas.  Pre-paid parking passes can be purchased in the mobile app or at AXS.com or InfiniteEnergyCenter.com under the specific event you plan to attend.
  2. Have your parking pass ready.  If you have pre-paid for parking, have it ready on your mobile phone to present it to the parking attendant.  Pre-paid passes must be presented when entering the lot
  3. Non-prepaid parking will be paid upon entry.
    • The method of payment is credit/debit card ONLY.
    • We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Course maps will be distributed daily at the entrance of the tournament grounds and can be found within both the Daily Pairing Guide and the Spectator Guide.

FIRST AID: First Aid Stations, operated by Northside Hospital can be found at 8th Green, 10th Tee and 15th Green.

LOST AND FOUND:  Lost and Found will be located at the Information Booth located at the Spectator Shuttle drop-off point.

PUBLIC BLEACHERS: There will be no public bleachers on course.  Individual chairs will be available on a first come-first served basis at the following holes, sponsored by the companies listed:

  • 1st Tee: Gilbane Building Company
  • 16th Green: Eastside Medical Center
  • 17th Green: Brand Properties
  • 18th Green: Coca-Cola

RESTROOMS: Restrooms are located around the golf course, mostly adjacent to concession areas.
