DULUTH, GA – The Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure will host its annual Executive Women’s Day brought to you by Northside Hospital on April 21, 2025, at Gas South Convention Center. Executive Women’s Day is designed to engage female executives and unify them over common interests in career development, networking opportunities, and business innovation. The event serves as the kick-off to the week of programming around the PGA TOUR Champions tournament taking place at TPC Sugarloaf.

This year, the Executive Women’s Day keynote will be delivered by Katie P. Desiderio, Ph.D. and Michael G. Frino, Ph.D., authors of the bestselling book, “The Beekeeper: Pollinating Your Organization for Transformative Growth” and their new release, “The Stargazer: Unleashing the Brilliance of Building Brighter Teams.” Dr. Desiderio is Interim Dean, School of Business as well as Professor of Management at Moravian University’s School of Business and Economics and Dr. Frino oversees Human Capital Development for a division of a Fortune 500 MedTech Company. All attendees will receive a copy of “The Beekeeper,” which helps lead executives to drive transformative growth within their organizations.
In addition to the keynote presentation, there will be two panels featuring female executives in the Atlanta area:
- The Corporate Power Panel presented by Luckie will dive into discussions on leadership, innovation, and the strategies that drive success in today’s evolving corporate landscape. Moderated by Aisha DeBerry, JD, Equity Officer, Gwinnett County Government, panelists will include Kim Anker, Director of the Northside Hospital Foundation, Shelly Hoffman, SVP of Client Solutions & Development at Luckie and Kelley Balkcam, Region Executive – Metro North at Georgia Power Company.
- The Power Players: Women in Sports Panel will feature accomplished women in sports as they share their stories of leading with purpose, navigating challenges in a male-dominated industry, and building winning teams. Moderated by Traci Messier, Director of Communications at the U.S. Soccer Federation, panelists will include Hannah Basinger, SVP of Operations at the Atlanta Braves, Heather Sautter, VP of Corporate and Marketing Communications at AMB Sports + Entertainment and Erin McCormick, VP and General Manager at Gwinnett Stripers.
